I just had one of Those Most Amazing First Parent MOMENTS, OH MY GOD! By now, I've switched Pandora stations to Miles Davis & Dizzet Gillispie is playing Sweet Lorraine in the background. In chilling in my bed with my son who keeps on sneaking over to my bookstand to drink my Lipton Citrus Green tea on the sly. This is the 3rd time he ran over there.....
I said to my son, "Stop drinking My Tea!" He came over to me on the other side of the bed and said, "Ma, T-I-A (spelling) it's T-I-A, Tea!" I just looked at him in AMAZEMENT AND SAID 'OOOO MMMMYY GOOSH, YOU JUST SPELLED YOUR 1st WORD!!!" And gave him the biggest hug ever!!!
It is just like, when I realized he could read! It was about a month ago, I looked at La****'s name on my phone & said Mami, that is La****. I looked at him again and said, since when can you read?! I asked La****, did you hear that? He said, "yeah that pretty impressive" I am saying now, #THATISFREAKINAWESOME!!
