Lately, I've been thinking long and hard about starting my own company. Let me be honest, I'm simply tired of working for someone else at a fraction of the money I know I'm worth. Last year, I audited & approved a minimum of 174 loans a month, with 60% being approvals to keep homeowners in their homes. The government pays banks $1000 for every Hamp Loan Approved, and $800 for every cash flow modification approved. I did the calculation at 1248 files per year, at a base rate of $800 per file. I made the Bank at minimum $1,000,240 last year, Guess how much I got paid for it? I guarantee you it wasn't a million dollars!
I spent a lot of time in the month of August coming up with a business model to support the business online. I have some more research to do. I am at the point where I am ready to do my own thing & 'Think & Grow Rich'. I want a business that will support my lifestyle and family. And, I want to enjoy doing it. My first goal is to find 5-10 new clients for October once i'm done with my website. I am going to go from there, I like having the freedom of being available for my son, Working 60+ Banking hrs a week is for the birds! Be on the look out for the launch!
I just finished reading an Article on "You don't need an MBA to be wealthy". Now, I'm off to purchase Laura Roeder's Face book Fame: The FB Marketing Bible for small business' kindle Book. It's $5 Bucks! That make my day perfect for book buying under $11! I bought three books at a used book store I found off of Clairemont. I got Think & Grow Rich for $1.98, The Richest Man in Babylon $1.99, The Morgan Stanley Guide to Personal Investing $2.00. I spent a total of $6.94. I love used book stores, even more, I LOVE the smell of an Old Book:). It's the writer in me!
