Here's a Pic of Us Back in the Day...I forgot to take pics again last night!
There is something to be said for not being totally connected 24/7. I got to work and I am on a computer majority of the day. I get home I check email, balance accounts, pay bills online, check face book, do shopping, update my blog, work on essays…etc….on my notebook. Then, as if that isn’t enough, I have all my electronic technology communication routed to my phone. So, I am always on literally. Well, last night, I had the wonderful experience of going out to dinner with one of my Air Force Friends & his Boss @ Red Robin. We meet there & hung out for the rest of the evening. Until, my son started taking his Balloon and hitting people in the head with it, lol. But, it was great seeing him! And, my son absolutely loved him! It’s so amazing that some fo the friends we meet in college become lifelong friends. I mean, me and this guy used to get head up when we were in the Air Force…of course, it was all love & friendly competition!
He said he was excited about meeting my son & he was shocked how cool he was. I said, “Dude, It’s my kid, what do you expect!” Lol,, he said, “I guess motherhood didn’t take all that cockiness out of ya’ huh?” Ha ha ha…”No, it didn’t, lol” But, anyway, we ended the night around 9:30pm. And, I came back to the house to get us in the bed. I felt refreshed for two reasons….1) I got 2 c My Boyy!! 2) I wasn’t on my computer all freakin’ night, tryin’ to do…dooo…doo more! So, that being said, every now and then, it is absolutely necessary for us to disconnect in order to recharge. Even, if we only do it for a couple of hours. It is essential for balance & living a healthy life.
As Always….Be Luv,
Rashida
