Today's blog is special, b/c Thursday-Sunday, We will be celebrating my son's 2nd Birthday! I am so excited! I look at him now and think back to when I could hold him in my left arm like a basketball, lol. Now, He's almost taller than me! Literally, he comes up to my hip. I think to myself, 'Man, it took me almost 20 yrs to reach my height! And, he's already to my hip…Ha Ha Ha! Anyway, on another note, I am a single parent, so I have shared all of his special moments by myself with him. And, honestly, I am at peace with it being that way. The life with his other parent was unhealthy. The most valuable thing out of that experience has been the gift of my son. When I stub my toe on my bed, and scream ouuch! He says, "oookkkk okkkkaayyy Mami?" And, then he comes and rubs my back and asks me the same thing again:)…its so sweet. He's so loving and caring. And, I am so thankful for him. I love him very much and am looking fwd to the beautiful, challenging year of him being 2! We are off to the beach this weekend to soak up the Sun!
