On this journey, I have found a number of things that ultimately stand out to me. I am preparing to continue my tour of business schools. And, the one thing that is very important to me is being able to include my son as a part of this journey. One the one hand, I have juggled with the idea of letting him live with my mother for the 2 years. And, on the other hand, there is a part of me that doesn’t want him to miss the experience. I believe it will be a great experience for him also. He is in his early developmental year. We all know, it is imperative to make sure that your child is exposed to as much as possible during this time, because it has a great deal wholistically on who he becomes in the later years. I am opening myself up to the other possibilities that may be a fit for us, because its not just me in the picture anymore. It’s us. And, I almost would not know what to do without him for two years. I should not have to give up my family to continue a great career or my career to have an awesome family. With that being said, as I am going down this journey of applying to business schools, it is imperative that I find the best place that will foster my growth & development, while allowing me to continue fostering his.
