DDay=G3!

Good Morning All!!! I have been labeling my study guide days G1, G2, G3…etc… I got the Idea from the historic June 6, 1944 DDay. I remember the first time I experienced DDay when I was at AF Boot Camp in Florida. There was a valuable lesson to be learned in the fortitude and sheer determination it took for our soldiers to walk into battle that day. I think the story left me almost in tears and with a greater appreciation & deeper devotion of loyalty to our country and being a leader. It took courage to walk into battle. And, it takes courage to make a decision to beat the gmat and master yourself with discipline in order to be able to accomplish that goal. It is a battle, a battlefield of the mind to master a strategy that works for you. It is exercising commitment to stay motivated even when your scores are not reflecting your desired results. It all comes in time. And, we all will get there.

I have to say, today is G3. And, I feel helplessly dumb (lol), as I am going online to do math drills from elementary school lessons to brush up on my math skills (lmbo)!! It’s hilarious because I know that I am not dumb, but this is one of those time that I can honestly ask the question, “Are you smarter than a 5th Grader?!!) Lol, and probably say, “No!” Anyway, I’m excited, nonetheless to be building my foundation! I decided to take the advice I found on the MLT website and study for 2-3 weeks brushing up on foundations so that I can get an accurate assessment of where my scoring abilities really are. Great Advice! I am committing at min. 2h hours a day to doing Math drills, b/c this is how I originally learned Math not by reading the lesson, but by doing them! Pragmatism at its best…now, let’s see a 5th Grader explain the philosophical concept of a pragmatist! (lol)!! Today is a good day as always…Be Luv! Rashida Mingo
