I have done an in depth analysis on my career and where I want it to go, including doing Dr. Timothy Butler’s (HBS Director of Career Development) Career Leader Assessment (6/22/09) (in which I agree & disagree with:)). I have figured out a way to incorporate what I have done in the past & what I do now into where I am going in the future. As I am slowly preparing for my career journey to diverge back into the investment side of finance, but on a different side (i.e. Private Equity). I am focusing on applying the career leader assessment results this path. This helps me understand why the career choices I made were beneficial to my experience as a Finance Professional. With that being said, I the final choice of merging my worlds was PE. Here is an good article that mentions some facts about PE. These articles are very insightful. Although, it was 3 yrs ago. I think the info is still relevant. I would like some current update financial media articles on the market sector today. I am going to do some research and find some.
