I had an Absolutely FAB’ BIRTHDAY! It was Amazing!! I got so many tms, vms, & etcc… that it shut my touch screen down, lol. I will finish it pff this weekend with my Alma mater’s ATL Classic! I am so excited! And, guess what? My son is going with his other parent for the weeknd! This is the 2nd time this year, for us that’s Super Good! Hopefully, we will make more progress as the time progress. I asked him the other day if he would keep for a month so I can go ahead and crank out the rest of my applications & get the standardized testing out the way. I know I would be able to focus more if I had a concentrated block of time to dedicate to finishing the process without having the responsibility of manging him in the process. So, hopefully, he figures out how we can make this work and get it done. I may as well just have taken the whole month off, b/c I haven’t gotten anything done. I am through my 3rd class that for testing, that has been cancelled for one reason or another. So, back to the drawing board on that. So, tomorrow @ Gouizeta is Super Saturday! I just looked up the info online & called. They are always really cool when I speak to them. So, I am pondering if I want to go & register for the events in the morning and meet some new people. I don’t check into my hotel until 3pm & that’s when the game starts.
So, I am thinking I may go for the earlier part of the morning, possible interview & get it over with. And, then on to the Tailgating for ATL CLASSIC FOOLISHNESS!!! I LOVE IT! I wonder why my company Doesn’t Sponsor Something like this?? We clearly need to do more in the diversity arena to show a bigger commitment. BofA has been doing it for years. Anyway, we’ll see, I’m SO EXCITED ABT THIS WKND! There I nothing like going back home to experience the love of my Big Blue Tigers. I LOVE HBCUS!!!! There is a part of me that is just saying go play..No Work this wknd…and I am leaning more towards that way. I will probably apply for their Diversity Conference & make another trip! I kinda just want let my hair hang down & not think about Bschool, Essays, Recommendations, Gmat/Gre this wknd. Well That is all My Friends! I hope your journey is going well as we all continue to plow away at our dream of going to Bschool!
