GDay 9 is Underway!.

I almost forgot what Gday it is…let me see, it's Gday. So, I have been going through this material & half of it makes sense the other half does not. I was discouraged by this, so I decided to do the comparisons of taking the Gmat vs. Gre. And, for some reason the GRE makes more sense to me. I don't know, I think I can master them both, I just think the GMAT will take me much longer to master. I understand the concepts to a certain degree, but I am not comprehending the strategies. I think the presupposition is that since the gre has no data sufficeny that it does not match the gmat, as far as difficulty is concerned. Well, here is the thing, for me, I majored in English literature in undergrad. So, naturally, I am more qualitative than quant. My verbal skills are good. My test scores will show that. I did the Air Force, so that's major leadership training, actually million dollar quality training, at that. I have been in banking & real estate for about 5 Years now.
Therefore, I do financial analysis (i.e daily underwriting, restructuring debt, & financing debt). I am pretty competent at interpreting the data presented in those graphs. I know for a fact that I can interpret quant. data. Now, there is always room for improvement. I could definitely get better at it. But, I do not believe that if my data sufficiency scores on the gmat don't reflect my actual ability to perform that it should hinder my application. I guess that is where the essays/purpose statement play a huge part in shaping the character of the application. With that being said, I am going to focus on my strengths. My application is still a competive one, outside of the standardized test, regardless of the scores I get. I am a leader will continue to be one & is striving to become a better one. Belief. Yes, sheer belief in myself and confidence. Now, back to this Gmat & Gre. So, here is my plan. I am going to prep for the GRE and take the test July 30/Aug 31. In the process, I am applying to Beat The Gmat Scholarship that offers a full complete course & it pays for your Gmat, and see what happens there. I figure practice is practice & though the test are not the same I am going to present the one that shows my adequate strengths when it comes down to it.
So, we'll see! Gday 9 is underway!…as always Be Luv, Rashida
